Jacobs Douwe Egberts is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planning Expert to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the seamless delivery of coffee and tea products to customers across New Zealand.
About the Role:
This position involves developing and implementing effective demand forecasting strategies, utilizing SAP/APO to generate accurate forecasts, and collaborating with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring potential supply chain risks and developing contingency plans to mitigate them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective demand forecasting strategies to improve forecast accuracy
- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels and achieve key supply chain KPIs
- Monitor potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
- Work closely with the wider team to support new product development and ensure successful launches
- Coordinate order processing and fulfillment to meet DIFOT requirements
- Generate and analyze regular inventory reports to inform decision-making
- Identify areas for process improvement within the supply chain and propose solutions
Qualifications and Skills:
We are looking for an individual with 3-5 years' experience in supply chain planning roles, preferably within the FMCG industry. Experience working on SAP ERP systems is highly regarded. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and excellent stakeholder management skills. They must also be able to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
