Role OverviewThe Patient at Risk Nurse Service is a new initiative aimed at supporting our most vulnerable patients across the organisation. As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in recognising and responding to deteriorating patients, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage high-risk patients in collaboration with the medical team
- Develop and implement effective patient care plans to prevent deterioration
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices in patient assessment and care
- CORE advanced paediatric life support trained with 3 years' experience in critical care environment
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and assessment skills
- A minimum of 5 years' acute clinical experience in a NZ hospital setting
- Experience in managing undifferentiated patients ideal
