We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support students with SEMH and complex needs in a specialist school.
This position is available at our school in Telford, which caters for students aged 9-16 with EHCPs, specifically those with SEMH and complex needs such as ASD, MLD, and ADHD.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will provide high-quality support to students, working collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist students with SEMH and complex needs in achieving their academic and personal goals.
- To work closely with teachers to create personalized learning plans that cater to each student's needs.
- To contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Substantial experience working with children who have SEMH and complex needs.
- An updated and clean DBS on the update service.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
