Playcentre Facilitator Opportunity

Nz Playcentre Federation is a well-established organisation dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education. Our centres are committed to fostering a love of learning and promoting the holistic development of children.
Job Details
This is a Monday-only role, working 9:15 am – 12:15 pm during school term time only. The position will commence on April 28th and conclude on September 15th. If you are passionate about empowering and engaging with all whanau, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating child-led play and guiding activities.
- Supporting whanau in the use of Te Reo Maori and encouraging participation in the Playcentre Education programme.
- Mentoring and supporting parents/whanau/members/tamariki as they explore and learn with their children.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Playcentre Course 3 qualification or higher, or an Early Childhood qualification of Level 4 or higher.
- A current First Aid Certificate, or be willing to achieve this.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with tamariki and adults.
- Possession of desirable skills and experience, including knowledge of Te Whariki, commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and ability to use technology.
