About the Role

This senior clinical leadership position requires a highly skilled and experienced midwife who can provide strong, visible, professional, and clinical leadership to motivate and inspire midwifery and maternity colleagues and the wider health workforce.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the midwifery team
- Develop and implement quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes
- Foster interprofessional working and lead the development of advanced and extended practice
- Collaborate with stakeholders to champion patient experience and equity-based frameworks

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">

* A current registration with the Midwifery Council in New Zealand with a current APC
* At least 5 years of relevant clinical leadership experience with evidence of ongoing personal, professional, and leadership development
* Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
* Experience in quality improvement projects or initiatives that give effect to Te Tiriti principles and equity-based frameworks
