We are looking for a highly skilled Journalism Specialist to join our editorial team in Hamilton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating and delivering high-quality content that meets the needs of Waikato and national audiences.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Producing engaging stories and multimedia content on a daily basis.
- Covering major issues in the local area and breaking news as needed.
- Understanding audience needs and finding unique local stories.
To succeed in this role, you will need strong journalistic skills, including writing and self-editing. You must also be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently, with excellent time management and self-motivation skills.
