We are seeking a skilled Timber Machinist to join our team at Pan Pac. As a key member of our production unit, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our planer.
This is a shift position, working 8-hour shifts (Monday to Friday) with a rotation through three different shift patterns. You will work each pattern for one week, providing flexibility and contributing to a smooth production process.
The successful candidate will have a strong focus on health and safety, with the ability to work well under pressure. A New Zealand Certificate in Timber Machining (Minimum Level 3) is essential, as is pride in being a team player and a strong focus on plant reliability.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the planer is operating efficiently to support production targets and customer orders.
- Operate the 'Golden Eye' grading system and other machine centers when required.
- Become multi-skilled within the Drymill department.
