Role Overview
As an Electrical Engineer – Transmission Lines, you will be part of our national Energy & Industrial team, contributing to high-profile projects that prioritize carbon neutrality and long-term resilience. Your expertise will drive the success of these initiatives, ensuring efficient and effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with the team to define project scope, prepare deliverables, and provide regular progress updates. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering cost-effective designs that meet industry, company, and client standards. This may involve generating design criteria, reports, verifications, and clearance tables using PLS-CADD.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need 3-5 years' experience in designing and engineering transmission lines, preferably within an engineering consultancy environment. Key qualifications include:

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, and PLS-Tower
  • Understanding of relevant engineering standards, such as ASNZS7000
