We are seeking an experienced Product Development Engineer to assist with the design, development, and commercialisation of our new medical devices. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet quality standards and patient needs.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Contribute to product design, development, and commercialisation of medical device projects
  2. Collaborate across teams including R&D and Manufacturing to bring our innovative ideas to life
  3. Present written reports within our quality systems framework
  4. Develop and implement systems to support development and commercialisation of new medical devices

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working within the medical device industry or similar regulated industry
  • Understanding of the entire product lifecycle and workflow from concept to production
  • Technical capabilities – understanding of 3D modelling software such as SOLIDWORKS, CREO or similar and understanding of mechanical and functional test methods
  • Hands-on and practical prototyping skills, such as 3D printing, CNC machining, Laser cutting or similar
  • Strong technical writing skills and understanding of medical device design controls
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly
