**Role Summary**This exciting opportunity is available in the Emergency Department, where you will have the chance to work with a dynamic team, providing exceptional patient care. As a Senior Registrar, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical services, working closely with Consultants, and contributing to the development of our department.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience, advance their skills, and develop a strong understanding of emergency medicine. This role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful contribution to the health and well-being of our community.
**Key Responsibilities**- Deliver high-quality medical services, including diagnosing and treating patients, prescribing medication, and performing procedures.
- Work collaboratively with Consultants, Registrars, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Contribute to the development of the Emergency Department, participating in quality improvement initiatives and implementing best practices.
- Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligibility for general or provisional general registration.
- A minimum of two years post-graduate experience, preferably in emergency medicine.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to diagnose and treat complex medical conditions.
