The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Duty Lifeguard. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patrons, while also contributing to the smooth operation of our centre. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervise pool activities to maintain health and safety standards
  2. Conduct regular water chemical tests to ensure optimal pool conditions
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to identify maintenance requirements and improve centre efficiency
  4. Provide guidance and support to junior lifeguards
  5. Stay up-to-date with legislative requirements and Council policies

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current Comprehensive First Aid certification
  • A Pool Lifeguard Practicing certificate
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A Swimming Pool Water Treatment qualification (a plus)
