Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead our Sales Design team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing impactful leadership and guidance to direct reports and facilitating the delivery of effective technical design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mechanical design support throughout the tender process, from estimation to submission.
  • Collaborate with the sales team, estimators, and other engineering departments to gain a clear understanding of client requirements.
  • Develop and deliver effective solutions to meet client needs.
  • Communicate regularly with project/bid team members and be proactive in seeking necessary information to complete the design.
  • Allocate tasks and ensure timely delivery of layouts, take-offs, and information to the costing team.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel for site visits to verify and gather information.

Leadership Accountabilities:

  • Set clear objectives and guide the team towards achieving successful outcomes.
  • Define clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide guidance and coaching as required.
  • Act as a key facilitator for the team and organization with internal and external communications.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with material handling systems and belt conveyors preferred but not essential.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Experience with CAD tools, preferably 3 D Auto CAD and Navisworks.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret concept plans and layouts.

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
