Clinical Psychologist Role

We are looking for a qualified Clinical Psychologist to fill a critical role in our acute mental health unit at Auckland City Hospital. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals who require urgent support.
**Job Description:**
- Provide psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
- Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure seamless care transitions
- Facilitate educational programs and workshops for patients, families, and carers
**What We're Looking For:**
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or related field
- Eligibility for registration with the New Zealand Psychologists Board with a Clinical Scope of Practice
- At least 2 years' experience working in an inpatient setting, preferably in an acute mental health unit
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
