About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate retail professional to join our Mercy Hospice team as a Retail Operations Manager. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our op shop store, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Management: Open and close the store, manage volunteers, donations, pricing, and customer service
- Merchandising: Contribute to designing and implementing attractive merchandise displays that enhance the shopping experience and maximize sales
- Customer Engagement: Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, addressing their needs, and resolving issues in a friendly and professional manner
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team, including volunteers and staff, to ensure smooth operations and a positive working environment
- Operational Assistance: Help manage cash handling, store organization, and adherence to health and safety guidelines
Skills and Qualifications:
- Retail Experience: Previous experience in retail or similar, with a demonstrated flair for merchandising and creating inviting store environments
