Design Team Member

We are looking for a skilled CAD Technical Specialist to join our design team at South Shore Millwork Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings for custom millwork projects using AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and modify detailed 2D CAD drawings of custom millwork products.
  • Produce accurate shop drawings for production, including dimensions, material specifications, and assembly details.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project teams to select materials and finishes that meet design requirements and budget.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including material lists and assembly instructions for use by the production team.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in architectural drafting, engineering, industrial design, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in CAD drafting or engineering design, preferably within architectural millwork, woodworking, or related industries.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe, Microsoft Office, and more.
