Job Description

This role sits within the Operational Projects Team based in the Newtown Depot. As a Weed Control Team Member, you will be involved in the day-to-day operations of weed control, working across various programmes and contracts related to the team. Your tasks will include vegetation maintenance, weed/pest plant control, asset repairs, litter control, restoration planting and maintenance, coastal grooming, and auditing work associated with these contracts/programmes.

Requirements
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience using small machinery
  • Ability to work to programmed maintenance schedules
  • Health & safety awareness and ability to work unsupervised
  • Experience dealing with customers
