We are looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our finance team on a part-time/casual basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a similar private/consultancy industry role and be proficient in Xero and Xero Add-ons Software.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, reporting, and general bookkeeping tasks. They will also be required to handle credit card reconciliations, payroll reporting, and provide general support with other accounts and payroll-related tasks as needed.
The role involves working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks and reports. You will also be responsible for managing company resources efficiently and effectively, ensuring risks and costs are communicated, identified, and positively managed.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a similar private/consultancy industry role.
- Xero and Xero Add-ons Software experience.
- Dext invoicing and receipting platform experience.
- Advanced Outlook, Word, and Excel skills.
- Accounting standards, best practices, and IRD compliance requirements.
