About the Role

We are seeking a senior nursing professional to fill this challenging and rewarding role. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Oncology nursing and will be able to demonstrate expertise in providing clinical leadership and support to patients and their whanau.

Key Responsibilities

">

The key responsibilities of this role include working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide care to patients based at Te Toka Tumai, Auckland, regionally at our local delivery sites and into community settings as the service expands. You will also be required to provide professional and clinical leadership to support nursing teams, prioritise workload, and work as part of a supportive senior nursing team to ensure excellent clinical care can flourish.

Requirements

">

To be considered for this role, you must have a commitment to biculturalism, a commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Maori, and a minimum Level 3 practice chemotherapy certified RN with a strong oncology nursing background. You should also possess expert clinical knowledge and leadership skills, post graduate qualifications preferably to master's level with a focus on NP or prescribing pathways, and an innovative mindset able to network with different stakeholders.
