About the Role
This is a permanent 1.0FTE position for a Specialist Anaesthetist to lead the Bay of Plenty Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team based at Whakatane Hospital and providing support services across the Bay of Plenty, including Tauranga Hospital.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team based at Whakatane Hospital
* Provide care for all age groups, after-hours, obstetrics, and acute care
* Support services across the Bay of Plenty, including Tauranga Hospital
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality patient care
Your Requirements
* Experienced leader with strong communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and inclusive environment
* Hold qualifications that meet the criteria for vocational registration or eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
