  • Early Supported Discharge (ESD) Program: Facilitating earlier transitions from hospital with comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational and clinical leadership to a team of physiotherapists
  • Drive quality improvements and contribute to the evolution of the Community Rehabilitation Service
  • Maintain a clinical caseload, modelling senior-level, evidence-informed practice and advanced clinical reasoning
  • Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of occupational therapists, speech-language therapists, clinical psychologists and therapy assistants

About You

">

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in physiotherapy, with experience in leadership and management. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary environment.

">
  • NZ Registered Physiotherapist with a current APC and driver's licence
  • 7+ years of clinical experience, additionally mentoring and coaching experience desirable
  • Supervision knowledge and skill
  • Excellent clinical reasoning skills and use of evidence informed practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary bicultural environment
  • Effective time management, prioritisation and organisation skills
  • A flexible, pro-active approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
