AIG is a global leader in commercial and personal insurance solutions, providing innovative products and services to our customers. We are seeking an experienced Programs Lead to join our Financial Lines team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the profitable growth of the Programs Portfolio, including underwriting and operations of schemes and facilities in compliance with International Financial Lines and Casualty Programs Referral Process. This includes full analysis of Actuarial, Claims and Programs Terms and Conditions.
The role will also involve managing DUA relationships, underwriting referrals from AIG's Managing General Agent/s and audit of policies issued by MGAs. Key accountabilities will include:
- Underwriting Schemes and Facilities both for renewal and new business within authorities granted and in accordance with profit centre guidelines.
- Reviewing and updating Binder Agreements with MGAs/Capacity Holders.
- Developing and executing strategies for the teams' products to ensure targets are met through sustainable portfolio underwriting.
- Establish/Maintain strong customer/industry relationships including Broker relationships with indigenous and international broking firms.
We are looking for a skilled professional who can analyze risk, develop strategies, and drive results. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial institutions, problem-solving, and business acumen. Strong communication and presentation skills are also essential.
