Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care Unit as a Clinical Coach. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on clinical excellence with professional development and coaching, supporting nurses across the continuum of care.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work 0.8FTE (32 hours per week) in a permanent part-time role. You will coach, mentor, and support staff across shifts, ensuring clinical standards are upheld and continuous learning is embedded in practice.
About the Team/Service/Location
Our team is highly skilled, supportive, and values-driven, delivering 24/7 care in a provincial setting. We offer ongoing education, post-graduate opportunities, and cultural learning through Te Pare o Toi and the guidance of our Senior Nurses, Educators, and coaching team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring recent experience in Intensive Care, High Dependency, or Coronary Care nursing, a proven ability to support, mentor, and coach clinical staff, and competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori.
