About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with various musculoskeletal conditions, working primarily in the therapies outpatients facility at Kenepuru Community Hospital.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of MSK assessment and treatment, as well as experience in the public health system. They will also be keen to further develop their skills and potentially progress to more advanced scope roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Mentor and support rotational staff and undergraduate students
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • NZ Registered Physiotherapist with current annual practicing certificate
  • Appropriate postgraduate qualification/working towards/keen to start
  • 5+ years' experience with a minimum of 1-2 years in the Musculoskeletal specialty
