We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rehabilitation Medicine Consultant to join our vibrant team at Nhs National Services Scotland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert medical input to patients requiring rehabilitation services across various settings, including the Major Trauma Centre in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the Neurorehabilitation Unit (NRU) at Woodend Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide high-quality medical care to patients with complex rehabilitation needs.
- To work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including specialist nursing colleagues and allied health professionals, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- To contribute to the existing Grampian Specialist Rehabilitation Services and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- To maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in rehabilitation medicine and stay current with best practices.
Requirements:
- Full registration with a license to practice with the GMC is required.
- Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry on the GMC Specialist Register from date of interview.
- Alternatively, applicants should possess a CESR/CESR (CP).
