Primary and Middle School Language Instructor

About the Role:
">- As a Part-Time Teacher of Primary School and Middle School Spanish, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students.
- You will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Language B (foreign language) classes to students from Grade 1 to Grade 6.
- Your expertise in teaching students aged 6-12 will be invaluable in helping us achieve our mission to make education a force to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.
- We seek someone with a passion for teaching, a commitment to excellence, and a desire to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Main Responsibilities:
">- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cohesive curriculum aligned with UWCSEA's Learning Principles.
- Contribute to the development of departmental resources and materials.
Requirements:
">- A recognized teaching qualification or certification is essential.
- A good degree in an area specific to this position is required.
- Experience teaching students aged 6-12 is highly desirable.
- A commitment to lifelong learning and professional development is expected.
- A willingness to participate in school-wide events and activities is also required.
