The Horizon School community is seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle Years Teacher to join our team. As a Middle Years Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to Years 7 and 8 students.
You will have the opportunity to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love of learning through hands-on and inquiry-based approaches. The role also involves student mentoring, curriculum delivery, and assessment.
We are looking for someone with a strength in delivering the Science curriculum or a Primary teacher who would enjoy teaching this age group.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to Years 7 and 8 students
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love of learning through hands-on and inquiry-based approaches
- Mentor students and contribute to their academic and personal growth
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
