Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operational Manager to join our team at our newly established Rangiora village in Christchurch. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of village operations, including staffing and financial management.

Your Role

As an Operational Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our village. You will be responsible for managing a team of staff, developing and implementing operational strategies, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Oversee financial management, including budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience in operational management, preferably in the retirement village sector
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, residents, and stakeholders
• A strong understanding of financial management principles and practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
