This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on a temporary basis. As a payroll officer, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, including preparing and submitting payrolls, managing payroll queries and resolving discrepancies, preparing payroll reports and reconciliations, and collaborating with HR and finance departments as needed.

About the Role:

To succeed in this role, you will require a strong understanding of NZ payroll legislation, high attention to detail and confidentiality, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and availability to start immediately or at short notice.

Responsibilities:
  • Process end-to-end payroll using Datapay and/or Chris21
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of wages, salaries and entitlements
  • Manage payroll queries and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations
  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments as needed
