Role Overview:

The Governance, Risk and Procurement Lead is responsible for leading and driving procurement and supply chain activities to add value to clients and CBRE. This key role supports the Alliance Director in overall governance and risk management of the account ensuring ongoing compliance with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compliance and governance of CBRE Contract with the client, including reporting requirements.
  2. Risk management plans development and maintenance in consultation with workstream leads to ensure risks are mitigated and disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place.

Procurement Strategy:

  • Develop a procurement strategy aligned to the client's core business objectives.
  • Create and deliver a sourcing plan for the delivery of all Facility Management supplier services to the client, leveraging CBRE purchasing power for the betterment of the client's portfolio.
  • Negotiate contracts ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and relevant legislative requirements.
  • Establish strategic objectives with all suppliers to improve sustainability practices & decarbonization of supply chain.
  • Indigenous engagement priorities establishment into all procurement activities.
  • Ongoing supplier contract management tracking and monitoring all cost and service variations.
  • Supplier performance management framework development and leadership for the delivery of all supplier services.
  • Management of relationships of key strategic suppliers to ensure service levels are met and continued focus on innovation and ESG.
  • Addressing supplier performance issues and coordinating agreeable outcomes for the account with operational teams.
  • Supporting operations teams with procurement requirements.
  • Supporting the Alliance Director/Senior Portfolio Manager in client-led ESG initiatives and annual plan.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor degree or equivalent qualifications in Supply Chain, Governance and/or Risk Management.
  2. Demonstrated 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Knowledge and demonstrated experience of Supply Chain and Procurement policies and processes and relevant legislation.
  4. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
  5. Experience developing and managing supplier relationships.
  6. Ability and experience in developing strategic procurement plans, business reporting, and documentation.
  7. Experience in working within an environment with Governance and Risk requirements.
  8. Proven ability to coordinate and manage key stakeholders and evaluation teams.
