Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Keyworker and make a real difference in the lives of our participants. As a Keyworker, you will be responsible for providing intensive support to help participants achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. This includes building trusting relationships, navigating resources and services, and advocating for participants when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with participants to develop and implement recovery plans that promote holistic wellbeing.
  • Build trusting relationships with participants, their whānau, and other stakeholders.
  • Navigate resources and services to support participants' needs.
  • Advocate for participants when necessary.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification or experience in social work, nursing, psychology, mental health, alcohol and other drugs, occupational therapy, counselling, social sciences, community development, sociology, support work, peer or consumer advisor.
  • Cultural competencies with knowledge of tikanga me te reo Māori.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and computer literacy).
