Job Summary:As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including servicing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to a high standard. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake repairs, and suspension work.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with vehicles, using a range of diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Work with customers to understand their vehicle needs and provide expert advice on repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and on time.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our services.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- A certificate in Mechanics or a related field is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Valid Driving License of class I in New Zealand or equivalent overseas license.
- Ability to work on weekends and flexible hours, including early starts and late finishes.
- Physically fit and able to lift weights up to 25 kg.
- Ability to pass a random drug test.
- A competitive hourly rate of $30.00.
- A permanent full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
