Your Opportunity at Secure

The Project Coordinator is a highly organized and energetic individual who supports the project management team by direct involvement in department schedules, budgets, documentation, process development and general project administration tasks.
The team works closely with the client sites with rotational shifts located in Fort McMurray.

Work Environment
You will work a 14 on and 14 off schedule, working 12 hour days.
Fly in / Fly out from Calgary or Edmonton.

A Day in The Life
General administration duties include meeting preparation, filing/scanning documents, travel planning, expenses, etc..
Preparation of documents for distribution includes binders containing project plans, training manuals, etc..
Assist in generation and distribution of weekly/monthly/quarterly projects reports.
Accurate data entry into a computerized system with particular attention to accuracy and timeliness.
Provide project administration services related to the management of estimates, funding requests, change orders, schedules, forecasting, and project closeout.
Project set up for invoicing.
Prepare invoice summaries for accounting.
Receive, coordinate and process all invoices and purchase orders ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
Ensure field paperwork (i.e. field tickets) is accurately captured on a timely basis.
Coordinate the flow of field paperwork ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained for required documents and documents are forwarded on to the appropriate department or individual.
Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Ability to read and understand contracts, drawings and specifications.
Post-secondary education - Engineering (Considered an asset).
Eng, EIT, or CET is considered an asset.
Proficient computer skills (MS Office & MS Project at a minimum).
Experience in the Construction industry, in any capacity, would be a definite asset.
Skills in project and scope planning, project implementation, data organization and in report writing.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
