We are seeking a full-time Specialist Medical Officer (SMO) to join our Plastic Surgery team.

This position is available as either a fixed-term or permanent role, offering flexibility to suit the right candidate. Below are the immediate and future needs for the position:

1. Join us on a fixed-term contract from February 2025 to July 2025.
2. Fulfill a permanent or fixed-term SMO role from July 2025 onwards.

The successful candidate will contribute to providing a complete range of secondary and tertiary services for paediatric and adult patients, both acute and elective for the Canterbury and West Coast regions.

We offer an accredited training centre for the Royal Australian College of Surgeons for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Our department has a complement of both training and non-training registrars within our service.
