About the Role

In this role, you will work with a diverse team of professionals to provide assessment, treatment, and support to individuals with acute or enduring mental illness in the community.

You will hold a case load of approximately 25 people as part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT), working closely with a Consultant Psychiatrist, Nurses, and other clinicians.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Organizing, prioritizing, and managing a caseload, including documentation associated with this;
  • Maintaining clear communication with the MDT, wider team, and community partners;
  • Being a Domain Assisted Outcomes (DAO) or having an interest in becoming one;
  • Practicing with a tangata whai ora and whanau centred approach and being a strong advocate for best practice.
