Job Summary:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facilities, ensuring that all public areas are clean, tidy, and safe for our guests.
About the Role
- Clean and maintain staff and public toilets and surrounding areas
- Ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies (soap and toilet paper)
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all food outlets, including emptying rubbish bins, vacuuming, and tidying regularly
- Clear outdoor public areas and main building entry points after new snowfall and apply salt and grit to minimise slip hazards
- Deploy signage and barriers to prevent slipping/tripping hazards and protect our guests and staff from falling snow or snow-clearing equipment
- Ensure that all public areas are cleaned and presented to provide an excellent service to our guests
- Rubbish emptied regularly; deck and outside areas clean, tidy, and safe; inside areas clean and vacuumed
- General maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs, stocking firewood, and monitoring public areas to ensure they are safe and well-presented
About You
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks and ability to learn new skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to changing situations
- Prior experience in a similar role or related industry an advantage
