As a catering instructor, you will be responsible for providing prisoners with quality training and employment pathways in the catering and hospitality industries. You will also assist them in developing essential skills and work habits sought after by industry employers.
The role requires a calm and mature approach to problem-solving, effective communication, and conflict resolution. You will work closely with experienced instructors who demonstrate a passion for their trade and share their knowledge to inspire others.
To succeed in this role, you must hold or be willing to gain unit standard 4098 in adult education. You should have qualifications and practical experience within the catering industry at a professional level. A full NZ Driver Licence and First Aid Certificate are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prisoners with quality training and employment pathways in the catering and hospitality industries.
