About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer II to join our team at PSC by Rocket Lab. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality assurance and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving continuous improvement of product quality through effective supplier management and quality control processes.
  • Performing on-site and remote supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Creating and implementing internal and external quality control plans to achieve quality objectives.
  • Investigating and resolving quality-related issues through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to develop and implement cost-reduction initiatives and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a high-quality, process-driven environment.
  2. Degree qualified in a relevant technical field such as engineering, science, or business management.
  3. Proven track record of leading and investigating quality-related issues.
  4. Experience with problem-solving tools such as Root Cause Investigations, 8D's, 5 Why's, Fishbone diagrams, Ishikawa, and similar methods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supplier quality role or equivalent.
  • Leadership and project management experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards such as AS9100, ISO13485, IATF 16949, or similar.
  • Experience with specialized technical manufacturing processes and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
