Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team as a Field Service Technician. The ideal candidate will have strong hydraulic fault-finding skills and the ability to work unsupervised.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of Construction & Utility equipment, providing excellent customer service and representing Komatsu in a professional manner.

Komatsu experience is preferred but not necessary. We are looking for someone who is proficient in the maintenance and repair of OEM equipment and has a good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform hydraulic fault-finding and troubleshooting tasks
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent qualification
  • Class 1 driver's licence, Class 2 (heavy transport) preferable
  • Strong hydraulics fault finding skills
  • Proficient in the maintenance and repair of OEM equipment
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety
