We're looking for a talented Data Architect to join our team at HSO / Aware. As a full-time member of our professional services team, you'll work on exciting data projects for our customers, leveraging your expertise in designing, implementing, and deploying code and infrastructure on cloud platforms.
This role is perfect for someone with a strong software engineering background and experience working with modern data platforms, particularly in the context of data platforms or AI workloads. You'll provide technical leadership, support sales teams in unlocking customer potential, and develop best practices to upskill our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement modern data platforms using Databricks, Azure Purview, Azure Synapse Analytics, CI/CD Pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data and AI, applying this knowledge to drive innovation within our team.
- Contribute to the development of best practices in cybersecurity and data governance.
Requirements
- Recent experience as a consultant in a service delivery organisation using the Microsoft Azure stack.
- Expertise in modern data platforms, including Databricks, Azure Purview, Azure Synapse Analytics, CI/CD Pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Current Microsoft Solution Architect Expert certification or similar qualifications in Data and AI on Azure or Databricks platforms.
- A deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices and their application to modern data solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
