**Job Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team in Wellington. This role offers an incredible opportunity to gain valuable experience in the transmission lines sector, working alongside a well-established, supportive team who will mentor and guide your career development.
You will engage in cross-sector collaboration, broadening your skillset and network, with access to opportunities across the wider Ventia team. Additionally, you will be supporting a long-term, stable client dedicated to keeping the community powered.
**Responsibilities**
The role will involve providing onsite engineering, technical support, quality control, and project management assistance or delivery across a range of small and large projects. You will review project design and scope documentation, participate in constructability meetings, and develop procedures and methodologies to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
You will also deliver technical reports and/or data within specified timelines, provide training on new technologies, and work independently and safely within a high voltage Transmission Lines environment.
