The New Zealand Government is seeking a Wildlife Conservation Specialist to join the team at Massey University's Wildbase Hospital. The hospital provides cutting-edge veterinary care to native species from across the country.

As a Wildlife Conservation Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and rehabilitation services to patients in the hospital and recovery facilities. You will work closely with a small team to maintain the highest standards of patient care and enhance learning opportunities for students.

The successful applicant will have a degree or diploma in veterinary nursing or technology and a demonstrated interest in avian health, conservation management, or wildlife husbandry. Previous experience in an exotics or wildlife hospital is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

This is a full-time position based in Palmerston North, with a salary range of $48,596 - $71,027 per annum. The successful candidate will be required to have a current driver's licence and basic IT skills.
