About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Clinical Dietitian to join our Hamilton based team at Waikato Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work across acute, outpatient, and community settings, delivering evidence-based medical nutrition therapy and education to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-quality patient care through evidence-based medical nutrition therapy and education
  • Working collaboratively with health professionals across the Waikato region
  • Developing and maintaining strong clinical skills, including the ability to work autonomously
About the Team/Service

Our dietetic team includes approximately 30 dietitians working across acute, community, outpatient, and renal services. We cover a large geographical area, providing care at Waikato Hospital, as well as in smaller rural hospitals: Tokoroa, Taumarunui, Te Kuiti, and Thames Hospitals.

What You'll Need:
  • New Zealand Dietitians Board registration and current annual practicing certificate (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Dietitians Prescriber status (or working towards)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong team focus
