The Senior Advisor Culture and Capability (Learning and Development) plays a key role in supporting the delivery of Maritime NZ's learning and development programmes. This includes managing the current learning & development suite, designing and developing new initiatives, and providing expertise in learning needs analysis, instructional design, evaluation, and facilitation.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement learning strategies that align with Maritime NZ's capability strategy
  2. Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of Maritime NZ staff
  3. Provide guidance and support to staff on learning and development opportunities

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development
  • Proven track record of delivering successful learning and development programs
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theory and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels
