Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Crane and Reach Operator to join our client's team in East Tamaki, Auckland. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely loading and unloading tables using an overhead crane and/or manually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate overhead cranes to load and unload materials
  • Use the crane/forklift to move parts around the workshop
  • Adhere to all safety procedures while performing duties
  • Assist with additional workshop tasks as directed by the Supervisor or Manager

Requirements:

  • Experience with overhead gantry cranes; current certification/licence is an advantage
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to lift heavy items up to 25kg
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Current OSH forklift certification and reach license
  • Full driver's license with F-endorsement
  • Experience or qualifications in Engineering will be an advantage

Working with Tangram:

Tangram operates across New Zealand, providing metal supplies to various industries. This role offers day, afternoon, and night shifts, Monday to Friday (40+ hours per week). We require applicants to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. Legal working rights in New Zealand are required.
