Oncology Care Leadership Role

Auckland District Health Board is an inclusive and equal opportunity employer that values and embraces the diverse population we serve. We are currently seeking a qualified Nurse Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will provide clinical leadership and support to patients and their whanau during their oncology treatment. This will involve working collaboratively with Radiation and Medical Oncology multidisciplinary teams to provide care to patients based in Auckland, regionally at our local delivery sites, and into community settings as the service expands.
The successful candidate will have:
- Expert clinical knowledge and leadership skills
- Minimum Level 3 preferably Level 4 practice chemotherapy certified RN with a strong oncology nursing background
- Postgraduate qualifications, preferably to master's level with a focus on NP or prescribing pathways
- An innovative mindset and ability to network with different stakeholders
- The ability to work effectively and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
You will also be required to:
- Work as part of a supportive senior nursing team
- Prioritize workload
- Ensure excellent clinical care can flourish
