**Responsibilities and Duties:**

  • Maintain and repair refrigeration units, including Carrier and/or Thermo King commercial refrigeration equipment.
  • Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications.
  • Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists.

**Requirements and Qualifications:

6 years of practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance are required. High school diploma or equivalent are required. Vocational/Technical or certification are preferred. Specialized training and experience in the overhaul of refrigeration components are required. ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications are preferred. Proficiency in the use of all necessary tools of trade are required. Current CDL license with air brake certification are preferred. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook are required.
