**Job Overview**

The Canal & River Trust is seeking a highly skilled Waterways Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding our infrastructure to ensure the safe enjoyment of our canals and rivers by visitors.

We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about preserving our industrial heritage and has a strong background in civil engineering. You will work closely with our experienced engineers to develop clear career goals, expand your skills, and assist you in working towards incorporated engineer or chartered engineer.

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the UK with a valid work permit if applicable
  • Ability to travel as our infrastructure is diverse
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
