Job Title: Retail Yard Team Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a Retail Yard Team Assistant to support our Trade Timber Yard team. As a key member of our team, you will assist with manual handling tasks, provide exceptional customer service, and serve as a backup delivery driver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to both DIY and trade customers
  • Assist the Trade Team in the yard and at the trade counter
  • Serve as a backup delivery driver
  • Perform manual handling tasks as required

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • An interest in timber and building products
  • A valid full Class 1 driver's license is essential; a Class 2 license is highly desirable
  • Forklift license and F endorsement are advantageous, although training can be provided
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong physical capability to perform manual handling tasks
