About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Specialist Anaesthetist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anaesthesia services for general lists covering a range of specialist services
- Participate in on-call rosters, including after-hours cover during the week and 1:8 weekend call roster
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A medical degree from a recognized institution
- FANZCA or equivalent qualification allowing vocational registration with the NZ Medical Council
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
