">This role is responsible for providing operational and administrative support to Police, including front counter customer service, exhibit/property management, data entry, use of Police systems, typing and file management.
">Key Accountabilities
">- The ability to deal empathetically with challenging individuals in a customer services environment.">
- A sound knowledge (or ability to learn) of computer applications, in particular NIA and Microsoft suites.">
- Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work hard in a team environment.">
- The ability to prioritise workflow.">
- The ability to manage time effectively to complete multiple tasks and files and meet deadlines.">
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.">
- Professionalism - Taking pride in representing Police and making a difference in the communities we serve.">
- Being supportive of one another - Supporting our colleagues across every function and level of Police.">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you must have:
">- A current New Zealand full class one driver's license
">- The ability to pass a police security check
">- Be a New Zealand Citizen or a New Zealand Permanent Resident
